Wednesday and Thursday sessions of the conference will be held at the Old Post Office of Málaga, built between 1916 and 1923. It currently houses the Rectory of the University of Málaga and SELIM 35 will make use of its conference rooms and terrace. The building is right in the city centre, where many hotel options are available.

Friday sessions of SELIM 35 will be held at the Faculty of Economics of the University of Málaga, one of the oldest Spanish faculties and the first that was built in the Andalusian autonomous community. Conference participants and attendants will be able to make use of some of its rooms and hall. The faculty is 15 minutes’ walk from the city centre.

Travel

Málaga city is the centre of an important communications hub, so getting there is easy, whatever means of transport you want to use.

Plane – Málaga airport is the fourth biggest airport in Spain (127 destinations managed by 47 airlines). Once in the airport, conference assistants can go to Málaga city centre by train (15-minute trip).

Train – Transport by train from other areas of Spain is easily done since Málaga is connected with Madrid via AVE (high speed train).
